Postcard from Africa: Malawi
Forty-nine-year-old Boniface Chisale from Nancholi Village in Malawi. He is also known as Traditional Authority Kapeni in that area, which is a position of divination and magic. This man gave his life to Christ!
Chisale was known for inappropriate behaviour with married women without the husband’s knowledge, and he did it under the guise of “magic”. Once Chisale watched the Jesus Film, he realised that what he was doing was wrong and decided to quit. He accepted Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of his life. He promised never to go back to his old ways, and he made a promise to destroy charms he had been using.
Many people were happy knowing that what he had been doing was over. We thank God for his mercies, and pray God should continue blessing the donors so this programme can continue.
