In these unprecedented times it is vital we join together in prayer as the body of Christ.

As the Church of the Nazarene in Africa we were looking forward to gather as family and friends for a time of celebration, enrichment and fellowship.

As we prepared for the Regional and Youth Conferences we were blessed by your response and excitement to attend. However, it is with deepest regret that we must announce the cancellation of the Youth Conference (NYC) in Ghana, 12-16 August 2020 and both Regional Conferences – Ghana, 16–19 August 2020 and Zambia, 5-8 November 2020.

The spread of COVID-19 has changed the reality of the church in this time. This decision was not taken lightly, but we want to respect the laws and regulations of the governments regarding travel and large gatherings. While we are sad to miss this opportunity to gather together in one space, we know that we continue to be together in one body and spirit. Refraining from gathering in one room is the best way we know to love one another and our neighbours (in this time). We will continue to be the church by showing the love of Christ to one another and making effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Still, we look forward to when we can meet and be together! We do not have new dates but will be releasing details in the coming months. We hope you will join us then!

We invite you to continue praying and seeking the face of God as “you are joined together with peace through the Spirit. Do all you can to continue as you are, letting peace hold you together.” Ephesians 4:3
