Pamoja 2026: Growth in Authenticity and Relevance
After weeks of anticipation, the Pamoja 2026 Conference was held from 29 July to 2 August 2026, just outside Accra, Ghana, bringing together more than 700 participants from 32 countries. Through powerful plenary sessions and thought-provoking workshops, attendees were encouraged, equipped, and inspired to return to their local churches and districts as effective servants of Jesus Christ, bringing lasting change to their communities.
Designed to provide practical ministry training rather than simply create a memorable experience, the four-day event featured dynamic workshops that equipped delegates with valuable leadership skills. Workshop topics included Leadership Transmission & Succession, Contextual African Missions Models, Building Thriving Urban Churches, Developing Self-Sustaining Districts, and many more.
The plenary sessions further strengthened participants through biblical teaching and practical insight that could be shared within their churches and districts. Featured presentations included “Growth in Authenticity and Relevance” by Dr Daniel Gomis; “Our Identity” by Dr Scott Daniels, Africa Region JGS; “Holiness in the African Pot” by Dr Gift Mtukwa; and “The Role of Laity in the Church” by Dr Kafoa Muror, Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific Region. Each session began with heartfelt praise and worship before participants were challenged and encouraged through rich biblical teaching. The evenings concluded with vibrant worship and dynamic preaching from Dr Scott Daniels and Rev Sam Barber, Global NDI Coordinator.
The conference concluded with a powerful address from Regional Director Dr Daniel Gomis, followed by the ordination of 24 ministers from five countries—Togo, Liberia, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Sierra Leone. Many of these ministers have dedicated years of study and faithful service to reach this important milestone, and we praise God for their perseverance and commitment. May God richly bless them as they faithfully serve the communities to which He has called them.
