Africa South Central Field Announces New NYI Coordinator
The Africa South Central Field (ASCF), composed of Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, warmly welcomes Mr Clérides Mavie as the Field NYI Coordinator for this newly formed field.
Clérides is a committed member of the Church of the Nazarene in Kumbeza, Mozambique. He has served in various leadership roles, including local and district NYI President. He has served alongside Rev Prosper Takapera for the past few months as the NYI leader of the former ASEF and Lusophone Fields. Married to Victória Mavie, he is a physicist, and his mission is to inspire, equip and guide the younger generation to live dynamic, Christ-centred lives.
We would also like to express sincere appreciation to Rev Prosper Takapera for his faithful service as NYI Coordinator for the ASEF. His contribution to youth ministry within the field remains highly valued and deeply appreciated. Rev Takapera will continue to provide mentorship to Mr Mavie as we strengthen and expand NYI ministry within our newly formed field.
Let’s pray and support Clérides in his leadership role.
