A Strategic Change of Plans
Recently, the Nigeria Southeast District dedicated a new building that will be their district centre. With much pomp and ceremony, the district and field representatives dedicated this building to the Lord. The purpose of the building is to address the long-standing need they have had for a central location to host conventions, women’s conference, youth camps and District Assemblies. In the past, all these events would take place in a tent, which can be challenging depending on the weather and the size of the crowd. Many from within the district have donated to build this building, and the Region also partnered with the district in the form of Alabaster funds for the roofing material.
A few years ago, the district raised funds to purchase a vehicle for the district superintendent (DS), and the DS decided to rather invest the money in building something permanent and long-standing for the district. He wanted it to be a building that would benefit the entire district and serve an important purpose for decades to come.
The Nigeria Southeast District is thankful to God and his provision for this wonderful building.
