Zimbabwe East Men’s Conference
The Church of the Nazarene’s 13th Zimbabwe East District Men’s Conference had 150 men attend their men’s conference with the theme, “Be Challenged, Stand Firm and Press On,” held from 19-21 July 2024. The event was held at Sanganai Creek, located on the banks of Mazvikadei Dam just outside of Banket in the province of Mashonaland West in Zimbabwe.
Men’s fellowship whose attendees included elders, pastors and men drawn from all churches from Zimbabwe East District. For the first time ever, invited guests from the Zimbabwe Midlands District came in solidarity.
Some of the highlights of the event were the opening service on Friday night where Rev Daniel Munjayi delivered a powerful message. Saturday the men were treated to a variety of devotions, workshops and messages to challenge them to deeper spiritual maturity. The attendees were also able to participate in fun activities such as soccer, swimming and volleyball.
The weekend finished off with teaching and a worship service. The final activity of the conference was to a ceremony that welcomed new members. They were each presented with an embroidered tie to indicate their new position.
We thank God for the bonds formed and the lessons learned that will continue to inspire and uplift the men in the days to come.
