Postcard from Africa: Benin
“I grew-up without my father,” said Andre Kyela. “He died when I was 9 years old.”
After his father’s death, finding food and other things became difficult for the whole family. Andre and his siblings became a burden to their mother as she struggled to cope all alone. The children were abandoned by their mother, and they were left with relatives of their late father.
“I thank God that after watching the Jesus Film, I felt peace within me after responding to the alter call and being prayed for,” he said. “I felt energised to be strong and trust in the Living God.”
Pray for Andre’s family and their future involvement in ministry without grief and hatred.
