Kenya Women Extravaganza Conference July 2025.
The Africa East Field held its 7th Women Extravaganza conference from 17-20 July 2025, at the Plainsville Resort Katito—Kisumu in Lake Victoria District. Ninety (90) women from 7 districts gathered for a time of worship and celebration where they focused on the theme, “Women evangelism and discipleship as a lifestyle for change and transformation,” using John 4:1-42 as its foundation.
On the first day, it was a privileged to have Rev George Nyatumba and his wife, Mrs Lilian Nyatumba, the District Superintendent for Kenya Lake Victoria, share in the opening session. He welcomed each person, and then he welcomed the FSC, Dr Stanley Ushe, to share a devotion. The FSC shared on the topic of “Prayer of Desperation” and talked about Hannah and how she poured her heart out to God, encouraging the women to do the same, so that they can leave the conference feeling different than they came.
Thereafter, each day there was a devotion followed by the main session where the worship team led the group in corporate worship. The excitement that was felt was palpable, especially as the different cultures were represented, and different district showcased their unique cultures. Each day, the ladies were led by the guest speaker, Rev Grace Ushe. She reminded those present that they are women of value and worth, and God has a purpose for each one to fulfil his mission.
In addition to the main sessions, the conference also covered important topics such as mental health, how to start small groups, empowering women, family focus, entrepreneurship, planning for retirement and preaching. These topics helped to constantly remind the ladies that they are women of value and worth, and God has a purpose for each one of them to fulfil his mission.
Thank you to the Africa East Field’s NDI for organising the Women’s Extravaganza, and for their hard work in making this a success. This was the most successful conference yet, and the NDI continues to pray that everyone will multiply their efforts in their local churches and on their districts. Our Church will grow and discipleship is going to be done through the women.
