New Regional Communications Coordinator
The Africa Region Church of the Nazarene is delighted to announce the appointment of Esteban Murillo as the new Regional Communications Coordinator, effective October 1st, 2024. Esteban, from Costa Rica, is married to Dhariana from the Dominican Republic, and they are blessed with two children, Etienne and Dhana. They currently serve as global missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene.
Esteban holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Hispanoamerican National University and a degree in IT Management from Central University of Costa Rica. He is currently completing his Master’s in Big Data and Analytics with INESDI in Spain.
Esteban’s ministry journey began at the age of 17, serving the youth, playing the drums, and being an active member of the Sunday School Ministries board. Over the years, he has contributed to the ministry both locally and within his district. Since their marriage in 2011, Esteban and Dhariana have served together as youth pastors for the district of Costa Rica Central and their local church in Coronado, Costa Rica. In 2017, Esteban answered God’s call to serve in the mission field beyond his home country, embracing a path God had been preparing him for many years.
For the past six years, Esteban has served as the Regional Communications Coordinator for the Mesoamerica Region, demonstrating outstanding dedication and leadership. We are confident that his commitment to the mission and his passion for communication will greatly benefit our community in his new role.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to LoReal Burton for her four years of diligent service as the Regional Communications Coordinator. Her contributions have been invaluable, and we are deeply thankful for her dedication and hard work.
Join the Africa Region in welcoming Esteban to his new role. Let us come together in prayer, supporting him as he embarks on this journey. Esteban and his family will be based in West-Central Hub (Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire).
