The Nigeria Revival 2024

The Nigeria Revival 2024, hosted on the Nigeria Port Harcourt District of the Africa West Anglophone Field (AWAF) in mid-August brought together Nazarenes from all parts of Nigeria, West Africa and beyond. District leaders including Rev Obinna Robinson, Rev Friday Udofia and Rev Okokon Eshiet, along with the FSC, Rev Vidal Cole and a team from USA South Texas District were proud to host and be a part of the Nigeria Revival in Azuabie, Nigeria. The event was hosted at the local Nazarene Church in Azuabie with the theme of “Holiness and Compassion: Transforming the Communities”.

This event was designed to foster transformation, revival and growth within the church by addressing change through compassionate ministry and community engagement. It served as a platform for evaluating and planning the future of the church in Nigeria, especially focussing on its role within AWAF. A key priority is leadership development along with strategic evangelism and how to better support pastors and ministers in local churches.

One highlight of the event was how the media team was able to livestream the event to Facebook by the AWAF media coordinator, Rev Raph Iheme with the help of Evangelism Coordinator, Rev Tim Eby.

Continue to pray for the Africa West Anglophone Field, its FSC, Rev Vidal Cole, field administrator, Rev Evans Katanga and the country of Nigeria as they strive to make Christ-like disciples in the nations.
