This assignment has been deeply meaningful for Samantha and me, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to walk with you, worship with you, and serve Christ together across this great continent.

We have been blessed by your prayers, your love, and your warm hospitality. From local churches to district gatherings, training institutions, and mission fields—your faithfulness to God’s call has inspired and encouraged us. The church in Africa is alive and full of hope. Despite the many challenges you face, your witness continues to shine brightly.

Samantha and I have been enriched by our time with you. We have learned from your testimonies, shared in your worship, and celebrated your missional passion. Thank you for welcoming us not only as leaders, but as family.

Africa is a vast and complex continent, but in every corner we visited, we encountered the powerful presence of the Spirit and the vibrant life of the Church of the Nazarene. You are a people of deep faith, resilience, and joy. We thank God for the many ways you are serving, giving, praying, teaching, and reaching others with the love of Christ.

Soon, Dr. Scott and Debbie Daniels will begin serving as your Jurisdictional General Superintendent and spouse. I am confident you will be blessed by their leadership, humility, and pastoral heart.

As I conclude my season in this role, please know that Samantha and I continue to carry you in our hearts. We love you and we are praying for you.

With deep appreciation and joy,
Your brother in Christ,
Fili Chambo
Shalom.
