Postcards from Africa: Mozambique
Lazarus was born into a non-Christian family. He had been taught to consult with the dead and with traditional healers whenever he needed to make a decision or encountered difficulties. One day, a friend invited him to watch a movie at a church. He did not know that it was a movie about Jesus, but he stayed and watched the entire movie. The movie talked about God, and it captured his interested so much that he knew with all his heart that God loved him. He could see God’s love for him. “I thank God very much for having brought me to this place, to save my life through his son, Jesus,” said Lazarus. Let us remember to pray for Lazarus as he grows in his relationship with Jesus Christ.
